January 2, 2024
I honestly believed our work in ministry would slow down as we aged, but I could not have been more wrong. This has been one of the busiest and most productive years of our lives.
It’s always helpful to look back and see the building blocks we have placed for the days ahead. I hope you will appreciate the many ways our partners and friends have made investments with us.
- Simply Sisters® has provided ministry to hundreds of women in this past year including women who are post-rehab and in the process of family reunification, ministering to refugees, crisis pregnancy centers, and women in life-altering situations.
- Ministry trips to Mexico (Sheila with a Simply Sisters® team that saw 40 women trust in Jesus as their Savior for the first time) and Egypt (Ric teaching in a master’s degree cohort with Logos University).
- Our NETWorks program has provided ministry sponsorships for students in Argentina and Bangladesh with over $5,000 in gifts.
- Over 2,520 electronic downloads of the book, Generous Measures, in English and Spanish and 1,800 paperback copies since its release in January 2022 with 150 copies requested by and sent to prisons in Oklahoma.
- Fifty copies of the NIV Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible sent and distributed to inmates at the John Lilly Correctional Center in Boley, OK.
- The DoorWays® Ministry Network provides oversight and training to over 50 men and women with ministerial credentials from a variety of professional and ministry backgrounds.
- The DoorWays® Ministry Network Podcast has been accessed in 25 countries and 350 cities with over 2,900 downloads.
- We have provided funds to other ministries with outreaches in Cuba, Egypt, Mexico, Tanzania, and Ukraine.
What will 2024 look like? More of the same and additional ministries as the Lord guides and provides.
What will it not look like? Apparently, nothing remotely close to slowing down.
Grace and peace to you in abundance! (2 Peter 1:2 NIV)
