DoorWays® Ministry Network (DMN) is a team of people who are called to serve others. Ministry is at the core of our lives and we strive to impact others on every occasion through leadership and influence while utilizing our diverse gifts to advance the Kingdom of God.

Who is DMN?

The DoorWays® Ministry Network (DMN) is a team of people from diverse occupations: physicians, consultants, teachers, financial advisors, musicians, business owners, law enforcement officers, social workers, chaplains, pastors, and more. While these may be our professions, the truth of who we are is found in our calling to serve others. Ministry is at the core of our lives and we strive to impact others on every occasion through leadership and influence while utilizing our diverse gifts to advance the Kingdom of God.

Why was DMN founded?

Our purpose is to provide an atmosphere where we can learn, teach, and help each other improve in our ministries. We hope to be consistently used by God in order to become more effective, relevant ministers. We believe it is essential that we remain teachable and willing to sharpen our skills. This is best achieved together rather than separately, with collaboration and synergy rather than self-promotion and individual strength.

Is accountability important?

By providing a supportive and confidential body of people who are also engaged in ministry, we have those around us who care not only for us as individuals, but also as representatives of the Lord and His Kingdom. Growing our people is more important than growing a brand. As we strengthen and hone each other, we can confidently affirm to others the fitness of each member.

Does DMN provide credentials?

Ministry credentials do not make us effective ministers, but credentials do affirm to others the Holy Spirit’s effectual ministry through us. While we recognize God is the one who calls to ministry, a group of overseers serve to validate His call. We believe growing together has a mutual benefit and appreciate that ministry may be expressed in a full-time or part-time occupation or avocation.

How will credentials help?

Ministry credentials (license or ordination) may provide certain ecclesiastical and legal endorsements of ministry outreaches and activities. DMN may provide ministry credentials to those who demonstrate an active call to ministry, submit to a criminal background check, and whose personal references, recommendations, and application materials are approved by our Board of Trustees.

What We Believe

Thank you for considering DoorWays® Ministry Network. Obviously, it is important for you to know what we believe. Our Basic Doctrinal Statement could be viewed as a modern-day version of the Apostle’s Creed; one which we think should be enough for everyone. While we know many people will believe additional things, adherence to these core principles should be sufficient for us to work together to reach the least and the lost while teaching those who have already been found.

DoorWays^® Ministry Network Basic Doctrinal Statement

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. He provides the Christian with guidance, power for living, and understanding of spiritual truth.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
